The terms governing your use of LienDeadline calculations, API access, and subscription services.

1. Service Description

LienDeadline.com provides mechanics lien deadline calculations based on state statutes. We offer:

  • 10 free trial calculations (3 without email, 7 more with email)
  • Unlimited calculations for $149/month subscription

3. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive for accuracy:

  • State laws can change without notice
  • We update our rules quarterly
  • We are not liable for missed deadlines
  • You should verify critical deadlines with your attorney

4. Subscription Terms

  • Price:

    Current plan prices and usage limits are listed on the pricing page.

  • Billing:

    Automatic monthly renewal via Stripe

  • Cancellation:

    Cancel anytime, no penalties

  • Refunds:

    Pro-rated refunds on request within 7 days

5. Acceptable Use

You may NOT:

  • Share your account credentials
  • Scrape or copy our calculation logic
  • Use automated tools to abuse free trials
  • Resell access to our service

6. Limitation of Liability

LienDeadline.com is not liable for:

  • Financial losses from missed deadlines
  • Errors in calculations
  • Service downtime or interruptions

Maximum liability is limited to one month's subscription fee ($149).

7. Partner Program

Participation in the Partner Program is governed by the Partner Program Terms. If those terms conflict with these Terms of Service on a matter specific to Partner Program participation, the Partner Program Terms control.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms, without prior notice.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our website.

11. AI Agents, MCP and the Public API

These Terms also apply when you use LienDeadline through its free channels for AI assistants and developers:

  • The hosted MCP server at https://mcp.liendeadline.com/mcp
  • The liendeadline-mcp npm package
  • The LienDeadline agent skill
  • The public supplier-deadline and state-guide API endpoints

These channels are free and need no account.

  • Not legal advice: Results are educational baselines, not legal advice. Verify calculated dates with counsel before relying on them.
  • Availability: Access may be rate limited, changed or discontinued at any time.
  • As is: The channels are provided as is. Sections 3 (Accuracy Disclaimer) and 6 (Limitation of Liability) apply to them.
  • Acceptable use: Do not abuse or overload the channels, or misrepresent their results as legal advice.
